Based on over a decade of studies and evaluating over 10,000 subjects (with over 60 peer reviewed publications), the Brain Gauge device has been demonstrated to give accurate assessments of the brain’s functioning. Measurements, called cortical metrics, are taken as the testee is asked to respond to presented stimuli. Each of these metrics targets a different mechanism of information processing, as seen in the graph below:
The device delivers high-precision and rapid vibro-tactile stimuli to two fingertips in order to precisely activate nerves, and the corresponding areas in the brain. The underlying scientific principle behind the Brain Gauge is that the nerves in adjacent fingertips project to specific and unique adjacent regions in the brain. The combination of the various and specifically chosen cortical metrics gathered allows for the creation of a comprehensive brain profile.
