Colonic Therapy

Many holistic practitioners believe that health begins with a well-cared for colon. The precise functioning of the body’s organs of detoxification explains why: every 4 minutes the blood cycles through the portal vein from the colon to the liver and back again. If the colon is toxic, through the connecting pathway of the portal vein, the liver becomes overloaded. The liver, then, can’t do its main function, which is to detoxify the whole body. The colon and liver are the 1-2 detoxification punch for the body.

Classic Colonic

This therapy cleans the colon using a gentle water irrigation technique. Water is filtrated and passed through UV light to assure its purity. Colon therapy offers many health benefits including detoxification, cleansing of the bloodstream and the stimulation of internal organs. While you are relaxing, letting us gently stimulate your body to release its toxic materials, we facilitate the process through the use of reflexology and abdominal massage.

Intensive Colonic

This is a colonic like none other, and La Casa is the only place in the entire world you can have it. We augment the colon cleansing with Pulsed Magnetic Therapy. This is a painless enhancement of the cleansing process. In fact, it will feel quite wonderful. As you are expelling your discharge, we will send gentle pulsed magnetic energy into your abdomen from our Pulsed Magnetic Generator, an FDA medically approved device. It’s a 1-2 punch: you get the benefits of the colonic with all the added benefits of the therapeutic effect from the PMT (which are systemic).

Raindrop Colonic Therapy

The Raindrop Technique is a method of using reflexology and massage techniques in combination with essential oils. Specific oils are applied to the body, bringing structural as well as electrical balance. This gentle treatment helps align the energy centers of the body, and allows release if they are blocked. Oils used are: Young Living products of Valor, Aroma-Siez, Ortho-ease, as well as oils of thyme, oregano, cypress, wintergreen, basil, peppermint, and marjoram. When this treatment is done in conjunction with colon therapy, the cleansing is more thorough.

When Raindrop colon therapy is combined with both floatation and La Casa’s unique body polish (said by the New York Times to “come close to magical realism, leaving you feeling otherworldly”), you have given your body an unsurpassed detoxification.

Light/Heat Flow Colonic

This colonic uses the Japanese technology of Onnetsu. The healing power of Far-infrared energy is sent to strategic places on the abdomen. Differences in temperature can be discerned, and these differences detect the location of unhealthy areas deep within the body, guiding the therapist to concentrate on these areas. As well, the penetration of light (8-15 microns) and heat (130* F) emanating from the Onnetsu device delivers therapeutic efficacy by increasing the flow of fluid and energy systems in the body: blood, lymph and Chi.

Colonic Implants

Augment the cleansing effect by finishing with one of our implants. These are effective because blood travels at 42 miles per hour through the veins. All of the body’s blood passes through the liver every 5 minutes. The colon is connected to the liver through the portal vein. Thus, with an implant that is retained for 5 minutes, you give your body the opportunity for a thorough dumping of poisons through one whole blood cycle.

Our implants are:

Coffee: the caffeine in the coffee stimulates the bile duct to stay open. The more the bile duct is open, the more dumping of poisons happens. If the bile duct remains closed, the poisons simply re-circulate within the body.
