CANCER AWARENESS RESEARCH EXCHANGE
|
AIN’T COVID GREAT
Because it introduced us to a virtual world like never before. During the lock-down, I continued all of my psychoanalytic groups and individual sessions with patients vis a vis zoom. We’ve gotten so good at it that it’s really almost as good as the real in vivo thing. Some of my patients from Brooklyn have even said that they now never need to come to Manhattan – will do all sessions digitally, even though lock-down is over.
So, with that as our recent past, I decided to zoom my talk tonight. I have been working on it assiduously, doing lots of research, incorporating ideas and theories that are new, and even revolutionary. The talk is called Disease Is Never a Mistake. Because the group I will be speaking to is a gang of cancer patients, I do focus in a lot on cancer specifically. But the information in my talk is still relevant to all disease states. And, of course, in this day and age, how could any talk on health be relevant without some references, theories and ideas about COVID? So, there’s that in there too. Enough novel ideas to whet your appetite for thought I hope.
Here are two points from my presentation. I venture to say most of you don’t have this information. I didn’t have it until I started researching it recently. If you would like a copy of the full Power Point, email me, and my right-hand-gal, Roxie, La Casa’s manager, will email it to you.

SHUT YOUR MOUTH
Mouth-breathing (called Ni Ch’i in ancient Chinese text–translation: adverse breath) is a serious affliction, jeopardizing health. 80% of mouth-breathers don’t know they are doing it. And it not only makes us dumber, it affects longevity, and it also affects your sex life.
The interior of your nose is replete with erectile tissue, the same flesh that makes up the penis, clitoris, and nipples.
NOSES GET ERECTIONS.
The nose and the sex organs are interactive with one another. When one is aroused, so is the other. Nasal erectile tissue mirrors your over-all state of health.
Mouth-breathers have to learn to breathe through their noses when they sleep. Not only so their partners can have a good night’s sleep, and not be kept awake listening to them snoring. But for their own health, as well.

BREATH OBSESSION
COVID, and the ubiquitous masks, have turned us into a planet of breath-obsessed people. But perhaps there is a silver living to all this. How we breathe is considered by some research to be the single most important factor not only in longevity but in wheher or not we get COVID.
Carbon dioxide, CO2, is the only hormone produced by every tissue and acts on every organ in the body. Because we breathe it out, we think of it as a waste product. But it is essential to us. Many of us over-breathe; we take in more oxygen than we need. And that depletes our CO2 levels. We generally don’t need more oxygen. That was the terrible mistake that the front-line docs made initially with COVID, putting the sick on ventilators, and most of them died from an over-satuation of oxygen.
Many of us need more CO2. CO2 dilues blood vessels, opening these pathways so they can carry more oxygen-rich blood to hungry cells.
